Lars Ny is an Associate Professor and Senior Consultant in Oncology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden. He has his MD and PhD in Clinical Pharmacology from Lund University and is a specialist in both Oncology and Clinical Pharmacology. Lars has participated and headed several Academic and Industry clinical trials at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Lund University Hospital and AstraZeneca R&D. More recently he has been the medical director at Clinical Trial Unit with the FiM unit at the Sahlgrenska Comprehensive Cancer Center. His research interest is directed into translational and clinical research in mainly immunotherapy in ocular melanoma and is a joint group leader/PI at the Sahlgrenska Center for Cancer Research focusing on cellular therapy in treatment refractory melanoma disease.
